University of Maryland Extension Master Gardeners (Baltimore City)

With all the gardening information available, it's hard to know where to turn. . . . the Baltimore City Master Gardeners want to help!

Connect with our trained volunteers who provide research-based education at workshops, community gardens, local farmers markets, libraries, schools and community places across the city, in conjunction with University of Maryland Extension (UME). Learn simple, sustainable lawn and gardening practices that suit Baltimore neighborhoods and help build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities.
